I read the new Windows 8.1 reviews as well as the old Windows 8 reviews, and download Classic Shell that is 5.4 Megabytes.
There are morons who downgrade to Windows 7 service pack 1. This isn't safe. Windows 7 has kernel 6.1 while Windows 8.1 has kernel 6.3. Classic shell fixes the problem.
